Ditmar Bening was educated as a freight forwarder at Messrs. Schenker, Bremen. After graduating since 1986 he is acting as an average agent, employed for more than 2 years at Messrs. Gassner Supervision Services Corporation, New York. Afterwards he was 13 years with the survey company Kraft & Co. GmbH in Hamburg. From 2001 to 2005 he operated as managing director of the Hamburg branch office of Messrs. Lampe & Schierenbeck Claims Services GmbH. In June 2005 he changed to Messrs. Kähler & Prinz GmbH, Hamburg, where he is president since Juli 2006.
